1986 Chevy K5 Blazer 4x4 Silverado

Original SPID label in glove box with all options listed.

Not the original paint. Previous owner(elderly gentleman) did his own paint job of the colors he liked. It was originally white. Needs a paint job done correctly.

Original K5 Blazer that runs and drives like it should for its age. I drive it regularly and recently took it to Placerville without any issues. It runs smooth, shifts great, and has tight steering with no wandering on the road. This is an uncut/non-modified Blazer which is getting hard to find.

Details and recent work:

* 199,xxx miles on the chassis. Will go up as I drive it regularly
* 350 V8 New long block with paperwork, approximately 3000 miles
* 700R4 transmission with overdrive
* Clean California title, currently registered and insured
* Passed California smog on 8/27 with great numbers
* Complete original SPID label in glove box
* Power windows and door locks work
* Borgeson-style steering shaft with U-joints and lifetime warranty
* Cooper Discoverer SST tires with approximately 2,300 miles
* New spare tire included, not yet mounted on a wheel
* Window regulators replaced
* Vent windows completely rebuilt
* Removable top seals replaced
* Alpine stereo and Diamond D971 TDX speaker set in console with sound deadener. Needs amp.
* New O2 sensor
* Catalytic converter and muffler were replaced at the same time as engine
* New turn signal switch
* Doors and tailgate have sound deadener installed
* Vacuum lines have been gone through and updated where needed
* Transmission rear output shaft seal replaced
* Original emblem badges included with new hardware
* all original exterior trim and moldings

Extras:
- New parts such as interior pieces, headlights, Precision seals, dash components and much more
-14 bolt rear end
-Additional removable top with good windows
-spare carburetors with new high quality rebuild parts

Condition:

The Blazer runs and drives good as it should and is a solid driver. The paint is the main thing it needs attention on. The previous owner painted it about 20 years ago, and the paint has peeled in some areas and been touched up. I was planning to repaint it next spring.

There are a few other things here and there that could be addressed that are normal with age, but nothing major beyond the paint.

There is a lot more to it than whats listed here, and the receipts document much of its history.

This is a turn-key driver with a lot of the work already done. Not a perfect show truck, but a great K5 to enjoy as it is or continue improving.
