One Owner 1977 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne

I purchased this one owner K5 Blazer from the widow of the original owner four years ago, so officially it is a two-owner truck. ˆ have put less than 250 miles on it since purchase. It was kept inside the original owner's barn since new and is a bit of a time capsule with aftermarket 70's style add-ons including a T-bar shift handle, grab bars, billet grille, window stickers, etc . It has been under cover and stored in my barn since purchased. Overall the body is in solid condition, including the original Mariner Blue & Frost White paint, with a few minor pinholes starting in the normal places, including one above the rear wheel well. I've included a link to hundreds of photographs of the Blazer from the point when I picked it up and going through small improvements, including new carpet, headliner dash cover, etc. There is also a startup video included. The frame is solid and show signs of undercoating that had been installed when purchased according to the previous owner. Some of it has flaked off and surface rust covers several places of the undercarriage. However, nothing has broken through the frame or floorboards at any time. There's a video that shows the driver floorboard with surface rust, and demonstrates that nothing is going through.

A new exhaust was installed and we installed new shocks and completed an engine tuneup shortly after it was purchased. It starts and runs well and drives and stops great. But, it definitely needs to be updated in terms of bushings steering, etc. The original owner had the engine modified for more power and a heavy duty lift kit and 35" tires installed in the early 80s. All very typical you the time period. An original set of white wagon wheels purchased through the dealer when the truck was ordered were prepped and repainted. With the age, lift kit, old bushings, etc., it is not surprising that it drives like a 50 year old truck. While it could easily be driven home locally within 25-30 miles, I recommend a trailer if you are traveling beyond that simply because of the stiff ride and steering.

Located near Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Cash purchase on pick up. Reasonable offers will be considered.

Please note: If you are not a serious buyer that recognizes the value that these trucks are bringing and simply want to complain about the price, color, condition, etc. please just move on. It is fine to have an option, but it is not necessary to share negative reactions and personal complaints every single time someone posts something to this site that you don't like. No one wants to hear it. This is an original vehicle and not listed as a daily driver, or completed project, etc. For those that are truly in the market for something like this, have done their research and are ready to make a purchase, I am more than happy to discuss the truck in more detail. Thank you all in advance.
